OMG! The perfect vampire! I'm dying!
You and me both, Eden!! I've always thought he'd make an awesome vamp.

I'm waiting. I love Depp, but then i loved Jonathan Frid as Barnabas too. He was Angel way before Angel. Okay, this is dating me--showing my age. But man when I got to meet Frid at a Dark Shadows convention and the man took my hand and kissed it.... Anyway, Depp was a fan too, so I am sure he will do it justice. :D
Wonder who'll be Quentin Collins, the werewolf? :D
The kingly, majestic Jonathan Frid will forever be "The First Barnabas Collins". Possessed of a polished gentlemanly suaveness, Mr. Frid, also imbued his character, Barnabas, with enough pathos to melt the hardest of hearts. He, of the best bangs this side of the Regency Period; the finest, velvety voice, that went from seductive whisper to sonic boom in one second--to thrill and terrorize us all; the melancholic cast of his shadowed face; the impervious angst revealed in his beautiful, yet haunted eyes; the strong, equally beautiful hands; and the trim physique fastidiously groomed and wardrobed in the finest apparel--these were the physical attributes which made the character of Barnabas live long in the imagination. Mr. Depp: look backward; study upon your predecessor, Mr. Frid. Underplay, but play with drama in mind; do not resort to comedic means. Barnabas was a man with a problem, taken seriously by Mr. Frid. Take this character seriously, Mr. Depp. If you are the fan of Mr. Frid's that you say you are, then you shall do well with this brilliant role. Good luck, and good vamping to you.
