It's official!!

I haven't been able to say anything until today, but since my agent gave this information to Publisher's Lunch, I guess I can talk about it.

January 5, 2011

Fiction:
Paranormal
Lynda Hilburn's VAMPIRE SHRINK, DARK HARVEST, and an untitled third book in her Kismet Knight series, featuring a psychologist who treats vampires after being drawn into their secretive and seductive lair, originally published by Medallion Press, and which found success as No. 1 sellers in Kindle's vampire romance and ghosts & fantasy categories, to Mark Smith for republication by Silver Oak in the US (Quercus's new line with Sterling) and Jo Fletcher Books/Quercus in the UK, by Robert Gottlieb at Trident Media Group (world).

Silver Oak/Sterling is connected with Barnes & Noble, so my books will get preferred placement in the stores, as well as good marketing deals for the e-versions on the Nook.

Quercus is the UK publisher that put out the Stieg Larsson books (The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, etc.)

Here's info on my new editor: http://www.wfc2011.org/guests/Fletcher_Jo.html

The offer was definitely worth taking.

Yay!!! Updated versions of The Vampire Shrink and Dark Harvest plus the third book in the series will appear on worldwide bookshelves in the future.

I'm so excited!
